I love horses, too. We have two horses: a 10-year old Arab, and 4-year old palamino. They are both a lot of fun; it's like having a big "dog" around. My husband loves the horses, too, and has really been helpful in taking care of them.

I have some pictures of our horses--but not sure if I know how to upload them on the site. I will give it a try!

The above picture is my son, George, on our Palomino. The next picture will be our Arab and my Husband. I had to sell my beautiful paint when I got sick this last time.

Ah! They are gorgeous, Dee Dee! (Both the horses and your 'boys')

I remember stopping at the old reenactment cowboy town in Norco, when my oldest boys were really into that sort of thing. It was a highlight of our trip for them.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Ooh, like April said, they are beautiful! I would have loved to see your paint. There's actually a paint in the story I've been writing since high school! ;) When we first moved here, there were a horse and pony just around the corner from us, they'd been here for years. One day, they just seemed to disappear and I thought they had been put in the barn for the nights (during the summer, they were out 24/7); found out later that some one had killed them. Don't know why anyone would do that. Now even the owner is gone, he passed away a few weeks ago.

OOps, sorry, didn't mean to bring anyone down or high jack the site!

Very beautiful animals!

Now I'd like to ask Melanie37 a question. Are you going to put the location information together and let us know what you found out?

My daughter was born, raised, and diagnosed in SC. Sandi, I think I recall the map was called a "flapper" map. You could put a "pin" for your location. Shame we don't have one on this jazzy new website. (Hint)

Here's a start, if someone with technical know-how can set it up on here. I couldn't find a "flapper map." (Not even sure that was the name, but I think it was.) This site said you could add its maps for free to your website. I used all my tech knowledge and skill finding it. I have none left. (That's why I was a political science major. Little real science required, and no math.)

I wanted to add that it could be just a coincidence, but my counts increased when I spent the summer in New Orleans (I'm from CO) as soon as I came back they dropped and have never been so high.
