Host a Fundraiser

As a nonprofit corporation that receives no federal funding, the Platelet Disorder Support Association’s efforts are only made possible through the generosity of private donations, memberships, grants from corporate sponsors and fundraising efforts organized by dedicated volunteers who engage their local communities, family, friends and colleagues in their amazing grassroots events.

PDSA fundraising events are inspiring and uplifting ways to raise awareness and connect the ITP community. From bake sales and back yard clam bakes to full-length marathons, our volunteers organize events that will captivate your interests, raise your spirits and assist in empowering ITP patients.

PDSA’S National Walk/Run

Pump It Up For Platelets! events are 100 percent volunteer driven and connect patients and caregivers within the ITP community. They offer an opportunity for individual engagement, raise awareness, provide essential funding and empower those affected by ITP.

Molly's ITP Awareness Marathon

This December, in support of all those living with ITP, and as a capstone to my collegiate running career, I will be running my first marathon. I am going to use this opportunity to raise money to help fund research and bring awareness to ITP.

In Memory of Barbara

I've created this page because I want to make a difference in raising awareness of my mom's very rare Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), bleeding disorder that took her life way too soon July 25, 2013. No surgeries were possible, no treatments, no chances.

Cycling for Steve 2018

I will be riding 103 miles in the El Tour de Tucson on November 17, 2018 in support of PDSA. My son, Steve Gregory has ITP (immune thrombocytopenia). He was diagnosed in 2015. Every dollar will help find a cure and support the many children and adults with platelet disorders.
