I like Texas too - lived there 13 years. I did not however like the roaches so big they got named, black widows, silver fish, side winders [snakes], scorpions of all sizes, and more. There is nothing like a roach climbing up your leg after you put on your robe & slippers and picked up the baby to go into the family room for a 2am feeding I once told my husband if he wanted an instant divorce to come home and say we are moving to Houston - would not want to live there, they have flying roaches.
