Saturday it was 101 - the past 2 days in the high 90s. Right now it is sleeting lightly and quite cold and is supposed to be snowing soon. Crazy weather!!

Monday here it was really nice, wore shorts to the hospital to see mum. Today, it's foggy and a jeans kinda day. Hopefully we won't get any of that nasty white stuff for a long time!

Our weather since last Friday broke over 20 records - think this is the 1st September snow in 16 years, I do recall a very heavy snow in September years ago. Today in the low 50s, tomorrow mid 70s and next week in the 80s & 90s & near 100 again. A national weather person I heard the other day said she had lived in Denver and in 1 day she saw all of the seasons.

Texas is very different. It seems as if we only have one season, HOT. Plus the occasional hurricane.

Foggy and chilly here yesterday. Today, nice and sunny. Still early, so could get warmer.

We quickly went back in to the 80s & 90s - my kind of temperatures !!
I like Texas too - lived there 13 years. I did not however like the roaches so big they got named, black widows, silver fish, side winders [snakes], scorpions of all sizes, and more. There is nothing like a roach climbing up your leg after you put on your robe & slippers and picked up the baby to go into the family room for a 2am feeding :( I once told my husband if he wanted an instant divorce to come home and say we are moving to Houston - would not want to live there, they have flying roaches.

It's actually cooling down a bit now, we've had temperatures go down as low as 50, which is wonderful to me. Much rather have cold than hot. I live in an urbanized enough town that I've never had to experience any flying roaches or stuff of the sort, but we encounter all sorts of creepy crawlies when we go camping.

It is cooling off here to teen - I do like the hotter temps but it is that time of year for changes. In the past we have had lots of snow or a blizzard on Halloween but that has changed over the years, never know what the weather will be on the 31st. Guess it doesn't matter this year as we will be turning off the porch light & not opening the door.

Do you get snow where you are?

I've seen snow twice where I live, once when I was 3 and around 3 years ago again. Always less than 2 inches and barely stays on the ground. The weather here has been nice lately though.
