Lessons not just for kids

"Preschools teach children about letters, numbers and shapes. They teach the intangibles: how to share, how to wait your turn, how to navigate in the world away from Mommy and Daddy.

And sometimes they teach lessons about how to help each other.

The Goddard School in Laurel Springs recently came together to help one of its own students, 4-year-old Lily Dryden, who suffers from immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), a blood platelet disorder that does not allow the body to clot its blood properly."
