IVIg Access

For some, access to IVIg, or a specific brand, has become increasingly difficult. PDSA is joining other groups associated with the Alliance for Plasma Therapies to help make sure everyone who would benefit from this therapy knows about it and can receive the brand they require in an appropriate setting for their condition. Here’s how you can help:

Patient stories are a very powerful way to inform congress about the importance of these treatment choices.

• If your doctor told you these treatments were not available,
• if your doctor told you they cost too much,
• if you were denied reimbursement by your insurance company,
• if the brand you needed or your doctor wanted was not available,
• if you had a health problem because you could not get the therapy
  you needed,
• if you had any other health or lifestyle problems caused by the
inability to get or pay for these treatments…

Please send us a short video or story describing your experience to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or PDSA, 133 Rollins Ave, Rockville, MD 20852.

Select stories (with identification information removed) will be combined with those of other support groups in a video and pamphlet that will be distributed to key members of congress.
