This 40 page booklet contains slides and notes from the Cangene sponsored meeting at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting, December 3, 2004.

The "Sixth Annual Review of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura", featured talks on the pathophysiology of ITP, hot topics and ongoing studies, and three case presentations. The first case addressed diagnosis, the second asked two questions - Why splenectomy? and Why not splenectomy?, and the third examined the treatment of refractory ITP.
