ITP Registry in the United Kingdom

Dr. Drew Provan at The Royal London Hospital in the UK, has initiated two registries for people with low platelets. The adult ITP registry will help researchers learn more about the characteristics of ITP in adults and how the disease progresses. The familial thrombocytopenia registry will help determine the genetic characteristics of family members who share a common trait of low platelets.

To participate, you need to be a patient of a physician in the UK. Everyone can benefit from the research results.  We will publish the findings on our web site and in our newsletter when they are available.
